Members of the Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club have their February meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 1.
The session will begin at 1 p.m. and will be hosted at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon. All gardening enthusiasts throughout the area are encouraged to attend.
Guest speaker will be the head gardener for Zinc House Family Farm in Escalon with the topic of organic gardening.
There will also be a door prize, snacks and raffle drawings.
Club meetings start with the guest speaker, followed by a short snack break, and conclude with the club’s business meeting.
Also anticipated is a special guest, with Paula Elias, Director of Valley Lode District, expected to visit the meeting.
